Amanda specializes in counseling for women struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, divorce, and other life adversities.
Amanda uses an integrated approach to counseling depending on the client’s needs and individuality. She mainly utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help her clients identify thought and behavior patterns that lead to obstacles in their life. She also uses techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy depending on the client’s individual needs.
Amanda believes in empowering each client with the skills and tools to create the life they desire. She believes that clients are the expert in their life and if given the right skills can make an impact on their well-being. Amanda strives to make each client feel seen and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and two dogs.
Amanda works at our Arnold office and has afternoon and evening appointments available.
